Shared Management Model

The shared management model provides further ways to share administration and decision-making. The Shared Management Model is based on the key principle that people with disabilities and their families are the natural authorities on their own lives. It offers a path for a person with a disability and/or their families and carers to have more say in the provision of support arrangements. It allows them to take small steps at first, but have more involvement if and when they are ready. Speak with us directly to find out more information on the Shared Management Model and what it might mean to you.

General Comments

IntE-grate operates currently in the suburbs of the north western metropolitan corridor such as Clarkson, Merriwa, and Two Rocks. The southern IntE-grate service operates in and around the Rockingham region, and IntE-grate East operates in and around the Swan region.

In January and July IntE-grate conducts a program development and training week. Members do not attend the service for those weeks. Staff members meet with new and existing members and conduct individual program plans. This is an opportunity for members to assess their goals and modify their individual programs to suit their current preferences.

IntE-grate staff also undertakes training workshops to maintain and improve the quality and standard of the service.
